Valeria graduated summa cum laude from Bocconi University, in Milan, with a dissertation titled “International crimes in times of peace: individual responsibility in an institutionalized dimension”, in which she explored the grounds for applicability of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court to situations outside of armed conflict.

In 2019, she was awarded the Best Oralist prize in the European Law and Religion Moot Court.

In 2020/2021, she took part in the Legal Clinics organized by Bocconi University in San Siro, Milan.

In 2021/2022, she participated in the 29th edition of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot as a member of the Bocconi Vis Moot team and a pleader for the procedural issues. The team won the Arblit Pre-Moot and was the only Italian team to qualify for the General Rounds, ranking 44th out of 360+ participating universities. She is now coach of the Bocconi team.
