Francisco specializes in international arbitration. He participates, as counsel and secretary of arbitral tribunals, in disputes arising from construction contracts, M&A and investments, mainly in Latin America. In addition, he advises Latin American and, in particular, Argentine companies in international contractual matters.
Prior to joining ArbLit, Francisco was a partner of a law firm in Córdoba where he has acted as counsel before the state and federal courts and the Arbitration Court of the Stock Exchange in matters related to civil, commercial and labor law.
He has also advised on contractual, corporate and consumer law matters.
Francisco obtained his law degree from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (Argentina) in 2009 and from 2011 to 2013 completed two master’s degrees, one at Temple University (United States), where he made the dean’s honor list, and another at Université Paris 2 (France).
From 2015 to 2018, Francisco pursued his doctoral studies at La Sapienza University. In 2019, he received the degree of Doctor of Law with a thesis on Hardship in Contract Law.
Francisco was admitted to the Cordoba Bar from 2009 to 2018 and was admitted to the Milan Bar in 2019.
Francisco is a native Spanish speaker, fluent in English, Italian and French, and has an intermediate level of German.
