Adela graduated from the University of Donja Gorica, Montenegro. During her University, Adela attended several conferences and courses, and in 2016 she took part in the Regional Moot Court Competition in front of the European Court of Human Rights, in Croazia.

In 2019 she obtained an LL.M in “Sustainable Development” from University of Milan (summa cum laude) with a dissertation on “Foreign direct investment and Sustainable Development. Normative aspects and recent case law” which sought to analyse the interplay between recently signed BITs and balanced investor protection, looking at the decision in the Achmea case. During the LL.M course, Adela was a member of the oralist of her team in the Pax Moot Court Competition in Paris, and from 2018 she is co-coaching the University of Milan team. In 2018 Adela interned at the International Arbitration Department of BonelliErede in Milan.
